Hello, my name is Lucy Farfort and i'm an illustrator and maker.
I love drawing, coming up with ideas and creating stories with my illustrations that people can get lost in. I've been working as a freelance illustrator & designer for sometime now & been luck enough to work on a variety of commissions. I've created logos, posters, t-shirt designs, web graphics magazine and book illustrations & lots more. Above all my goal is to work as an illustrator for children's publications and one day i hope to achieve that!
Would you like to know more about how i create my work? Well...Each image begins as a freehand drawing in pencil on white paper, which is then hand traced in black ink & transferred to my trusty Mac. The illustration then has colour, pattern & texture added to it.
My previous clients include: Digital Artist Magazine, Wellcome Trust, Manchester University, Snippets Magazine, Narc Magazine, Box Fresh clothing and many more.
If you'd like to commission me for an illustration or a design or would simply like say 'hi' i would love to hear from you. You can email me on either: email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
Aside from illustrating which is my first love, I also make and sell some products online and from a few shops. My product range includes prints of my illustrations, handmade cards and stationery.
At the moment you can find my prints and cards in Newcastle Arts Centre, Crafts Shop and City Attic in Durham.
